And yes, she's another twist villain, Disney or Pixar love to use those lately. Incredible) has to watch the kids Violet, Dash & Jack-Jack.Įlastigirl works with other heroes as they have to stop a brainwashing villain named Screenslaver who is using mind control, but it turns out that it was Evelyn behind the crimes as she wants superheroes to remain illegal because her and Winston's parents were killed by robbers when her father's faith in heroes got him killed. Incredible and also Helen Parr) to do hero work while Bob Parr (aka Mr. But a business man, who is a big fan of heroes, named Winston Deavor and his sister Evelyn help the family and Frozone to better the hero brand, as he recruits Elastigirl (aka Mrs. So anyway those who haven't seen the second film, the Incredibles have to stop the Underminer from destroying the city with a drill tank while saving the people, but the government aren't impressed that the heroes caused some major damage and the fact that superheroes are still illegal. I did start with An American Tail: Fievel Goes West & the Land Before Times 2 & 3 before their original films back when I was a child, but I digress. But with The Incredibles, it doesn't make sense, especially for those who have only seen the first movie, but not the sequel when it first came out (and I was one of them).Įrin: That is very odd that you have to start with the sequel before the original. I guess this was their way of having you unlock all 6 original Avengers at the start. With LEGO Avengers, you start with the opening of Age of Ultron, but then jump back to the storyline of the first movie, then continue Age of Ultron later on. Well, this isn't the first time a LEGO game has done this.
HOLD UP! You start with the second movie and not the first? That is a little strange, especially since you have to play through the whole storyline of the sequel before you can get to the events of the first movie.
You start the game by playing through the opening battle between The Incredibles and The Undermine in the second one. LEGO Incredibles came out around the same time as the second movie and it was LEGO's second Disney game, with LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean as the first one.
Peter: I didn't know you played the first LEGO Star Wars game growing up.Īnd yes, just like with other LEGO games based on movies, they all feature levels and content based on all the movies that came out during that time. And I did play the GBA version before, but now we're doing the LEGO version and it has content from both movies.
Plus I did grew up on Pixar and Incredibles is one of my fav films, so playing a game based on it would be fun. They're quite an impressive game company who made some hit or miss games before the LEGO games series, and when they made the LEGO games based on licensed projects, they're quite good.
Anyway about the LEGO games, they're made by Traveller's Tales, and I've played their games like A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, Sonic 3D Blast, and even Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex & Twinsanity. It is one of those rare games that I've played years ago. So buddy, how does it feel to play one of these LEGO games?Įrin: Quite good, but I did play a LEGO game before the first LEGO Star Wars game.
And what better way for him to get started with the series than with the LEGO Incredibles game. I got my friend Erin here to play a LEGO game for the very first time. Peter: Hello everyone! I'm back with another LEGO game review. Written by Peter Ruksenas and Erin Delgado (Since I don't like the new way of submitting fanfics/reviews, all future reviews will be submitted as Deviations).
